BMW Dealer Twixt Chepstow and Taunton?

My job currently regularly takes me from the Forest of Dean to Taunton, via Chepstow and whichever Severn Bridge is open.

1100 is nearing a service/mot. Can anyone recommend a dealer somewhere close by my route where I could drop the bike off for a day or two and borrow a loaner to get to Taunton and back.

BVM in Stroud are not too far out of the way either - perhaps cross the Severn in Gloucester rather than Chepstow

Wessie I don't know if it's actually true but I heard BVM are closing, a sad day if true as I bought my first and only 1150 there.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry to be slow in responding, been away for a week or so.

Graham's looks like a good bet Fatty. I've sent them an e-mail.

I used BVM when I first got the bike, but they lent me a 650 which scared the s**t out of me on the windy, hilly roads round Stroud. Don't know what it was about the bike, but I just could not get the hang of it. Guess I've been to afraid to go back since.

If I decide to use Graham's, I'll give feedback on their service.

I have just brought a new GSA 1200 from BVM, picking it up Thursday (1st March). they seem very busy, I have heard that they are having a new showroom, but not closing.
Good sales guy there call Mark, very helpfull, not pushy.

I picked up my new GSA today, and asked Mark the sales guy there if it was ture that they are closing.

The answer was "definetly not closing" if anything they could be expanding.
Very helpful guys there, I have been very pleased with the service so far.
Friendly non pushy, genuine people.

Completely different from Fowlers in Bristol, were I brought my last bike from.

Hi there from a new boy I can assure you at the moment bvm are open for business just px my R1150RT for their latest R1200gs demo bike last week.They put it on sale 2hrs before I got there!!Expensive coffee!!
PS thats my bmw bike no 4 from them since "92

To Custard and Petelu, hope to see you around the town some day, Cant miss me its the fast RED GS with all concievable bits fitted. Even if you dont see me you will hear the remus a mile off, engine normally on rev limiter. You might even see my mate trying to follow me on his silver 1150. Keep safe.
