bmw engine bars ?

Hi guys having trouble fitting the engine bars .
1) when its dry fitted in place they are out of allignment
2) One sides sits higher over the exhaust 1 1/2" the other side is 1"
3) screws on the left hand side of the bike are out by 1/8"
Any photos or advise (apart from getting a mechanic to fit them) would be appreciated

PS hopefully im on the ferry to France for a little trip to the Dordogne in the morning so need some advise quick.. please

You don't mention Bike and what bars you are trying to fit.

You would most likely get a better response to your problem (and other problems if you have any) if it were posted in a more suitable location, ie the Technical section.
