Anyone managed to get a set of BMW engine bars yet? Mine are still on order.

Any particular reason you went for MBW bars?
I ask because pretty much all of the posts I've read seem to favour the H&B bars.

H&B Bars
H&B are the ones - i ordered them with my 1200GS from South London Motorcycles and picked my new bike up yesterday - fantastic!
TheH&B engine bars look much stronger and don't have to be removed in a service like the BMW ones. SLM have already sold another set as a result of having my bike in their showroom for half a day.

I ordered my BMW bars in March and they where delivered in June. There is no need to remove them for service.
The BMW bars for 1200GS seems to be very robust while the H&B bars (for 1150GS) are known to be surprisingly weak. Probably much stronger steel in the BMW bars?
The BMW bars are quite expensive and I guess that one gets what one pays for.
