For sale , my 2008 BMW G650 X Challenge, owned by me for just over 4yrs, purchased from a well known member from this forum.
Bike has only done 6774 miles and is in exceptional condition for a 17yr old bike.

The bike has numerous upgrades from standard, all functional , not just for show.
Both wheels rebuilt with Takasago Excel rims and fitted with Mita's Enduro tyres with heavy duty tubes.
Rear shock is a fully adjustable Hyper Pro.
Front forks have Ohlins cartridge inserts
Scheffermaer heavy duty basheplate.
Isotto screen.
Perspex headlight guard.
Lower front mudguard.
BMW G650 gear lever.
Hepko and Becker rear rack.
Hepko and Becker pannier rails.
Side stand foot enlarger.
RAYZ comfort seat.
Stainless steel chain guard.
Stainless steel rear master cylinder guard.
Stainless steel rear disc protector.
Stainless steel rear brake reservoir and rectifier protector.
Rear brake pedal protector.
HID headlight upgrade.
Clutch sidecase upgrade.
Husqvarna 701 handguards.

The bike also comes with the following which are not currently fitted.

Touratech large tank with all fitting brackets.
Akropovic silencer with John Nicholson header.

Due to the condition of the bike and upgrades I would like £6000.
Not wanting to take parts of at present but if any one wishes to purchase the bike with some of the items removed I am open to discussing the price.

Beautiful .... a lot of motorcycle for the money. They don't make them anymore, but parts will always be available.
This motorcycle will take you anywhere in the world .... anywhere :thumby:

Good luck with the sale :thumby:
:beerjug:

EDIT .... Good to see the original gearchange lever has been replaced by a mild steel version off the F650's :thumby:

The original version was beautifully made in stainless but was unbendable. If you took a hard fall it would/could break the gearchange shaft flush where it exits the engine casing, thus rendering the engine 'scrap' because it is a total engine out and strip down to replace. The mild steel replacement will ben .... and can be straightened :thumby:

I ride a 701 with numerous trick bits, owned an XChallenge previously.
For the use I put them to, the XC is the better bike. Cracking example

Supplied new from my local dealer, Astle Bmw. It’s now be taken over by Marshall Bmw, Laceby Lincolnshire.
GLWTS Ferret👍

Totally agree i had an xc then bought a 701 but changed back to an xc.

Ferret you git. I have a number of these and thought I was satisfied, but now you've got me wondering 🤔😬🤣

Nice setup

Not a lot of interest, have i got the pricing wrong? I know things are slow to sell at moment and its coming upto Xmas.
Will give it till the end of the week then list it on evilbay.

Of to evilbay this evening.

Afraid many will go and buy a Chinese bag O shite rather than picking up a well sorted classic machine like this.

One will end up as landfill, the other will still be admired in 20 years time 👍

Ok, let's try this again, I am revising the price of the bike to £4500.
This does not include the Touratech tank or Akrapovic silencer, these can be negotiated separately if required by the purchaser.
They will not be sold separately until the bike is sold.
Thanks for looking.

Ok, last chance before I take it with me to Scotland, bike as advertised including Akropovic and Touratech Tank £4800.
