Forgive my ignorance, but what does the booster plug do?

Hi Ferret,

These plugs "fool" the engine management into thinking is a tad cooler ( OAT) than it really is. The outcome is; the mixture is a little richer and improves engine running.

This is the words from the manufacturer of the "Booster plug" and not mine. I think there has been some previous discussions regarding them on this forum.

I attach a copy of the installation instructions for the device.
