BMW Heated Vest controller not working

I have this connected to my 2022 1250 Adventure through the onboard din socket. It is not working and flashing green/red then switching off.

Any ideas?

It's probably drawing too much current (5A max) for the canbus to handle, best wire back to the battery with a 10amp fuse.

Worked for the last 3500 miles. Only started yesterday. Nothing changed.

I have a bmw heated vest too, uses the same controller and works fine with canbus. Vest can be used without controller but obviously not temperature adjustable...

Plug it in without the controller, if it works, it's probably needs a new controller.
