bmw heated vest

Lilith and I have had them for 3 and 5 year respectively, brought them on Ebay.
Good. Yes but there, are better.
Bad. The wire attachment to the waistcoat I have had 2 wire sets, Lilith 1.

Ideal for summer, and short trips in spring, autumn and winter say 30 miles.

Riding a R100GS (no fairing) and lilith on R100GS (Fairing) across Spain in December @ about 2c. Wearing Rally2 with liners, Phase undergarments, Shirt

We froze...
Will now be getting Gerbing with arms and legs for winter and save the BMW waistcoat for Spring summer autumn emergency wear!!!

I'd agree with the comments about the connectors, piece of crap, I've soldered my lead in to the jacket permanently now. Never found it too cold, but then I've not ridden at such low temperatures.

If you can get one at a sensible price, and are prepared to solder the connectors, go for it.

heated body warmer

For the last 3 years I have used the storm rider heated body warmer and gloves with a handlebar mounted heat controller.

I have commuted 50miles each way in the middle of winter and it changed the experience from a complete drag to fun!!

its not cheap - but the clothing has no cables in it to go wrong. The whole fabric heats up - one of the usable wonders of the modern age
