BMW hose clamps

Anyone know a good way of removing the fecking things without having to buy the proper BM pliers?

PS And before you start, I'm not actually doing it right now, just woke up early! Am predicting hose-clamp type frustrations for later on today...

If it the same clamps on my sons dakar i just used pliers.. then replaced them with SS ones.

Mmmmm - I did that when I transferred the fuel filter to outside of the tank - I seem to remember getting the BM ones off was a right nightmare

i used water pump pliers, don't remember it being hard
