Anyone here going on the 'freebie' one-day training session in Wales on the 19th of this month? That's when I am booked in.

Anyone done this HP2 day? Can't recall anyone on the forum discussing the content of the course and I was wondering what to expect.

Cheers, Rick.

yes i was there

Just after the Red Kite Rally at Easter time , the morning was a road spin with the super moto wheels on and the afternoon session was based in the off road facility in south wales , and mainly concentrated on hard off road braking and trail riding , a good day out

enclosed some pics

I'm going this Wednesday 16th.... I'll let you know how it goes. Anyone else going on the 16th?

BTW, Bluesweeper has already done this course and if my memory serves he did do a write up.....

Dave you posted that too late he is off playing today and I would have loved to see Sabrina again.

Of course watching you two throw those things around would have been loads of fun for us girls, to especially each time you fell off and we had the cameras out.

I reckon we could have have got Simon to set something difficult up as well so we could have got some real good pictures..... :D

just got back from the HP2 day and what a gas :thumb . It's super moto time in the morning and off-road time in the 'arvie ( been hanging around Australians too long :D ).

You can REALLY cane the HP2's as well ... and I do REALLY mean cane them! You choose your own pace through the sections where there's an obvious meeting point at the end of the road ( and there's plenty ) and follow Simon Pavey where there aren't. The roads are perfect for the HP2 - you'll definately have a smile on your face when you stop.

After the road bit you head of to the enduro park and swap the wheels to knobblies, have lunch and head off for the off-road bit. Jarv and I had it good as Simon split our group into pairs based on ability. Jarv and I then had one of the best off road days of our lives but both managed to puncture our front tyres. We went to a tyre repair shop, had the tyres changed and when we got back went out for another hour with Simon. Because of our punctures it was only the 3 of us in the whole park, so a proper race developed between us all. Jarv and I did OK but were completly knackered when we left.

All in all a brilliant time so if you've booked it up, enjoy :thumb

Here's some photo's of Jarv and meself
