Hi

really think it is weird that I see NOTHING advertised about the new bike??

Been on the BMW site, 3 main dealers in Berlin and NOTHING!

You can see the bike (if you look hard enough) but no mention of the launch or anything?

Find that really strange if I am honest......

Nearest the get is advertising Season Start on March 16th

How bizarre...............

Simples

saw that myself - BUT - look again........ Wouldnt you imagine a BIG push to show when the launch is - big pics of new bike etc? I dont care either way, just think it is poor somehow

went onto the link for bmw germany. like the look of the web site-wish i could read german:(

the site is okay, I just did the simple comparison - go on the Balderston site, what do you see at the top? That is all I meant........ i just think that such a huge company, huge launch etc, you would expect it to be the first banner you see rather than hidden away in the details

The video, when you click on Enduro, is very slick.

I am a little surprised but , maybe, as the biggest selling bike by a factor of 3 they feel the need to promote all the bikes as the punters know the GS has changed.

That is my guess. Different countries, different rules!

It could be because it's been trailed in the German bike press for ages before its release, so market awareness has been very high. German bikers seem a tad more tech-savvy than their British counterparts, so there's been a high level of focus on the tech of the new Wasserboxer, which probably also contributed to greater levels of awareness in the market.
