K1100LT with 70k on the clock. Been off the road a while as can be seen from the photo ...

It might have a V5 and possibly some keys but I can't promise that I'm afraid

The plate is probably worth more than the asking price of the bike to a private plate wanker

I only popped out to look at a T150 and bought six bikes ... Please don't tell the wife :blast

£500 much cheapness collection from Marlborough Wiltshire SN8

(if anyone wants to sell the plate I'd love to buy it. I'm one of those private plate wankers).

I also partake in VRN masturbation, although this particular plate has no meaning to me and is unlikely to end happily.

I once owned OBO 110X spaced O BO110X but after getting pulled about 20 times I sold it on
bought K00 180Y Spaced K001 80Y when I had some hair LOL that went as fast as the hair !!
nice old bike for that money especially with the plate

I wish I’d seen this early enough. I have fond memories of many enjoyable miles on a K1100LT. Big and heavy, but they get you through entire countries with ease and comfort. That one looks like there’s a decent bike still in there.

I don’t do the dodgy spacing, that really is private plate wanker territory!

If Satan ever created a vehicle it was this, and the Hades version was the automatic 🧌
I've never driven a J4 but I drove quite a few of it's reincarnation, the Sherpa 300 Series, including those fitted with Rover 3.5 V8s which would do 100mph 😲
I've never flown in a WW2 Bomber but apart from not being shot at (Stoops Estate excepted) I can imagine the experience wasn't too dissimilar. :thumb

I was very lucky in a V8 (a vehicle I’d only occasionally driven) and soon realised they required ballast over 40 mph when changing direction rapidly .. There was just myself and a female colleague in the front, and we were making a rapid response to move the serial we’d de-bussed to an urgent assistance call.

The shields were in the roof space, and all their kit in high lockers and framed hammocks giving it a ridiculously high C of G especially with the heavy front windscreen grill in the raised position.

This caused me to drift across the road, apparently with a rear wheel lifted (they said) a very scary change of shreddies moment, but I managed to give it my best poker face, and all in control people nothing to see here on landing :augie
