i have just came home after being t boned by a car.
my gs is in about 5 pieces now. the front end has been ripped of,the front spokes have all snapped so the wheel is loose and wobbles around. the instuments ans all the other gubbins are in a bag in small bits. the impact was around 40 mph. the forks snapped off and the engine has sheared from the frame. yes pics will follow.i went along with the bike.
i have no crash bars and the covers are not marked at all.
my ralleye suit is shredded,gloves ripped and helmet smashed.
dislocated thumb,bruised ego and thats it.
TEN OUT OF TEN FOR THE KIT.
WORTH EVERY PENNY.

oh and i opened the car up like a tin opener,
new gs on the way!!!

The kit i was wearing was the red and grey suit.
It wore through on my arse but didn't go through the goretex liner.
The jacket tore on the arms and on my right shoulder.
My agv helmet is shredded down its right side and the front.
my gloves which were new dainese sproggs melted and burst through the palms.
My boots are pro boots and they punctured just above my ankle..
i cannot praise this kit enough.
Only shame is i am in plaster for 2 months now,so no more riding for a bit.
The bike (1200gs) is totally destoyed.
The front forks got ripped off and the engine has come away from the frame.
The car which hit me is also a right off!!!!!
Apparently if it wasn't for the engine barrells(which hit the car first )i would have lost my leg.
So 10 out of 10 for the kit,and also the the bike.
Ordered a replacement yesterday.

I advise you to enjoy your recuperative period and make sure you get enough whisky.
