Picked up a used BMW lockable Sat Nav mount as used on the R1200GSA lc a while ago, it was very cheap as there were no keys and the mount could not be locked , struggled to get the lock out as the rotating plastic tab on the back that locks the cradle could not be removed in the open position .
Bit the bullet and carefully drilled out the lock barrel to remove it , the mount was undamaged , however, BMW wanted lots of money for a barrel and keys so I trawled the internet and Motorworks website and found part number ACA88957 which is a pattern top case lock and two keys , cost £29.70 delivered but was a straight fit into the cradle and I now have a lockable cradle with two keys that I can use on any bike I want to ( it is going on my new Stelvio) .
Just in case anyone is in a similar position and doesn't fancy paying a lot more money to BMW
