my 1150 GS cam with one of these fitted, I have the special tool with for removal, but I dont need it because I can remove it by hand, :nenau
Also just noticed oil seems to have leaked out of the cap and forming in the cooling fins, not a major problem , but wondering if anybody else can remove their's by hand or is mine pooped :mcgun

mines crap too took it off. if you twist it hard enough it takes the rubber seal out too...:blast which you then have to clean and put back in.

I posted a while ago about these "locking" caps.

ALL of them are easily undone by hand, just press down and turn
, TT, wunderlich etc etc

Don't waste your money.

ok thx everyone, I suspected as much, l'll treat it as a bit of bling then :D

Do what i do - fill with 20/50 oil, then use a R/H rocker cover on the left hand side.

No need for top up's inbetween oil changes, and the next time it'll need filling is when you remove the rocker cover for the valve adjustments anyway. ;)
