I think they might have been referring to Mark Holden who works out of a small unit situated in the centre of Bromley. Mark is a fully trained BMW mechanic with years of experience and has a very strong following. Very reliable and knowledgable.

The entrance is opposite a restautant called Caligulette (not sure of spelling).
Been using Mark for years. This is both for my GS and my Honda.

A word of thanks to this post - I had been looking for an independent workshop for some work on my F800GS, and tried Mark Holden after reading this thread. Had been a dit demoralised with service experiences and price from BMW battersea service centre. SE London doesn't seem to have many independent BMW workshops!
Anyway, was booked in last friday to MH Motorcycles at Bromley for new steering head bearings, progressive fork springs, and annual service. Can't be happier - Mark and Darren very knowledgeable and pleasant, work was carried out quickly and faultlessly - bike feels like it has a new front end and engine feel great after the service. Cost extremely reasobale compared to previous services. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Another +1 from me. They have worked on my TTR, F800GS and GSA and always excellent service. Very happy with them.
