I have just had my 1250 gs serviced along with a major software up date. Prior to the software update the bike would automatically connect to my phone and record the ride etc.

Since the service and update the bike has stopped connecting automatically with the bike. I now have to go to settings and scroll through to connections and reset the connection everytime, even if I switch the ignition off to say pay for fuel the connection drops!

Anyone have thoughts/ similar issues?

Mine was just updated with the new software today. It blew away all bluetooth connections so I've needed to set them up from scratch, but I have noticed that where it used to take 15 seconds or so to find the phone from startup, it now takes a minute or so before the connection icons show and the speed limit square fires up.

Blimey! Mines not been that bad it's just annoying that it will not re-connect after turning on the ignition. I have ridden for a good hour and it will not connect to the phone [Iphone 13] :nenau

Bet you have an Apple phone. Many people with them have the same problems as you. My GF has an Android that she uses with her S1000XR as her iphone was a constant pain.

I use an iPhone. After the update it was obvious to me that I should have to reconnect all appliances again and IN THE RIGHT ORDER. To resume normal service. Once done (10 mins) all absolutely perfect. It really is simple if the time and appreciation of what we are asking to be achieved is conducted in the correct manner.
Some are clamouring for the new 1300 for bhp which already is more than a very good rider can handle, and will no doubt, as always moan and groan that this isn’t connecting correctly etc it’s seats to hard/soft the suspension is rubbish etc etc. Ffs just enjoy your ride.

Ffs! I do enjoy the ride but it would be nice if things worked as they should :thumby:

I was so frustrated that mine (1250 GSA) had stopped working that I emailed the Helpdesk from the 'Report Problem' link within the App.

Very swiftly received an email explaining that my I-phone had recently updated and therefore I would need to re-connect to the bike.

Embarrassingly obvious to most and simple to rectify.

These here mobile phones may not catch on.......

Sorry you are having problems hope you get sorted

Same. Mine went in for the update for the gearbox protection. I had to reset all connections when I got the bike back and its a lot slower at connecting to phone now!
