Hi all - apologies if this is a stupid question...

I have a BMW R1200GS (2008) and I bought a secondhand BMW Motorrad HeatUp vest. From what I can see, this will be fine to operate from the DIN plug under the left hand side of my seat, as it is 35w max draw (~3A).

The vest has a small round plug, so I need a cable that has a DIN plug on one end and a small round socket that will fit the vest controller on the other. Are these a common size?

I have looked online and I can see these cables for other makes of heated gear, e.g. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/mo...20080?gad_campaignid=17349036866&glCountry=GB

I have no idea if these will fit the Motorrad HeatUp Vest.

Does anyone know where I can get the correct cable, what these small plugs/sockets are called, or even if the cables for other heated gear will power my vest?

Thanks in advance all

Phil

It should come with a double female adaptor, to allow correct connection to the vest. I slipped a bit of heat shrink tube over it and the vest plug, so as not to lose it.

Ignore my last, the controller will plug straight in. I put heat shrink over the controller connector to stop me losing it off the vest. IMG_5963.jpeg
