For interest these are the BMW Motorrad results so far this year although I don't have the LC numbers.
2nd quarter 2013 worldwide - 40,209 bikes reached new owners.
1st 6 months worldwide - sales volumes up 9.7% on last year to an all time record of 64,941.
In the US demand for the BMW C650GT scoot exceeded supply...in the land of the HD cruisers? What's that all about? It'd be interesting to know how the BMW scoot sales are going in the UK. Anyone know?

At the NEC last nov when I asked about expected pricing of the coming LC the BM guy was quit clear and said they would not make the same mistake as they had with the scooters! As we know the price killed it in its tracks.

I wonder just what supply of scooters BMW allocated to the US? I never see one on the road which probably means nothing. Still I recall back when BMW made the R1200C cruiser we were told it was always one of their top sellers yet they were seldom seen (thankfully ).
