BMW NAV 4

hi guys


i'm just fitting a nav 4 and seem to have a slight issue (probably me)


i have 2 connectors coming from the cradle, I've located the black connector on my GSA but can't locate this second one


the instructions are nt that clear and yes i am reading the english version


can anyone shed any light please?

I guess by:

I've located the black connector on my GSA

you have connected the power-in lead to the blanked off black socket under the beak?

The other one is I assume (as it's hard to tell what you are describing) the audio out to (for instance) an Autocom. Not needed if you are Bluetoothing. That lead has two female jackplug connectors on it.

Any chance of a better description or a picture.... it's worth a thousand words.

Just been out to have a look at mine. GSA with Nav 4.

The plug with the brown and white wires inside is just blanked off with a black end cap. The other plug (red/purple/black), is plugged into the bikes loom behind the oil cooler.

I use the bluetooth facility for the audio. Hope that helps.

There isn't a second one on a GS. It's to connect into the sound system on an R1200 RT (probably K1300 GT as well). Just tie tie the loose cable up safely out of the way.
