BMW Nav 5?

Same helmet as me, I'd be interested in replies.

Hi Windy, does the BMW communicator go into any helmet (i'm using a tour x four). Have used a Cardo Sho 1 with mixed results and was interested to see if the 'full' integration of the BMW unit would be more reliable.

What issues are you having? I will be in the middle of a call then start to hear an echo of my own voice randomly. I changed my phone and Cardo headset...very annoying.

MotoGoLoco is easy to use but you are only creating a gpx file for waypoints and not the route.

The Nav V will create it's own routes to the waypoints.

If you want routes included in the gpx files then (according to an email I received from Garmin UK last week) use MapSource. Your device may not connect to MapSource so you will need to export the file from MapSource to your desktop. Then add it, drag'n'drop, to your GPX folder within your shatnav.

Quote from Garmin UK......"The zumo 400 and 500 series, 550, 600, and 665 series, which the BMW devices are based on, are NOT compatible with routing in BaseCamp. These devices may appear to take a route without issue however, when navigating the route, an error message may appear."
