BMW NAV II - american mapping question

Hi

I have a Nav 2 with Mapsource 8 loaded. Am looking to travel to florida for hols this year and was wondering if I could load a US mapsource to the unit to use whilst Im over there?

I think this may be a cant be done answer, however, there may be a way.

For me I'd get a seperate data card, buy the CN USA maps, load them onto the card and use.

There are ways of getting Metroguide to autoroute on the GPS, and I'm sure there'll be even more nefarious ways of getting CN and not paying for it. One other option is to buy a 2610 from the US with the mapping etc ....
