Hi all I'm looking at putting the nav cradle onto my bike, I have no idea what I need (obviously the cradle) the only thing that is on my bike is the nav bar, I've done the vin decoder thingy and it says it had nav prep.
Apart from the cradle itself what leads do I need and is it plug and play ?
Thanks in advance

You will need the cradle itself but you'll need the lock barrel too. I believe the LIN BUS socket will be there to plug into, under the beak at the right hand side. I should check that it is there. it'll be an unused 3 pin socket (Female)

This is assuming it's a 1250 GS/A, It's plug and play.

Not 100% but I think it's the same.

On the 1250 GS/A there is a plug front right of the handle bars where you plug it in then just route the cable

If you watch this video it will show you it being removed so gives you a good idea how and where its fitted

Its very simple

Thanks for that, I've just had a look where GSian suggested and there's a plug with some black insulation tape tucked into the frame, I'm guessing that's it

I don't know the 1200 instruments so I don't know if you get the same display as I do on a 1250 but it detects the Navy being plugged in
