Help, do I need to reset this to factory settings?

To maximise chance of a sale, I suggest you:
- reset it to factory settings
- add latest maps
- delete it from your Garmin account (so buyer can add it to theirs)
- clarify whether it's the latest CAP screen version or not
- add a couple of close-up photos to show screen and case condition

Revised Navigator VI (New Cap Touch): Uses newer, updated, and faster capacitive technology.

It is identified by a completely flat, non-sunken display surface and generally improved, higher-contrast visibility.
Hardware Version V9: This is often cited as the identifier for the "fixed" or latest revised units, which many users report as working well with gloves.

To display the hardware version on a BMW Navigator VI, go to the main menu and select Settings > Device > About. This screen lists the Unit ID, Software Version, Audio Version, and the Hardware Version.
