Cap Touch is short for Capacitive Touch Screen. It uses the electrical impulses from the finger instead of finger pressure. Prevents the ghosting issue that dogged earlier versions of the Nav 6.

Sorry no. CAP screen is a hardware update. I am no expert but there is a lot of info on line and also within this sites forums.

I bought a nav 6 from here about a year ago and it started doing the ghosting, Garmin would replace/swap it but it was about £90 as had no original purchase receipt. Seller took it back.
