BMW Offroad Skills

Booked on the course for the 1st/2nd September - staying at the Abercrave Inn.

Anyone else booked on that weekend?

Yep, booked on 1st/2nd Sept for level 2. Also staying at Abercrave Inn again.

My first time, so I'm doing Level 1.

Doesn't look like you are too far off my suggested route from Nottingham - I'll be travelling down on the Saturday if you fancy meeting up en-route?

I'll be riding over to Neath on the saturday afternoon as well so drop me a line closer to the date and well arrange to meet up.

I did the Level One at the end of June this year, and it p*ssed down all of the time. Fantastic!!!
To anyone out there thinking about it - get on and do it, you will not regret it!
This was my first proper off road experience, and learned loads whilst having a permanent insane fixed grin on my mug, and you meet a great bunch :D

Just come back from the first Level 1 course run this year. Cold heavy rain on the first day but didn't really matter as there are loads of exercises on the bikes to keep you warm, Day two was cloudy and that was grand too.

Cannot rate this course highly enough it was so well organised and instructed. All the staff were genuinely nice people to talk to, they had loads of time for everyone and the exercises seemed to shrink the bike as time went on until it stopped feeling like a big machine.
JP was our instructor and he explained and showed things so simply and clearly that all the exercises seem like obvious progressions, then you have a go and even bits that seem to be scary to look at really aren't. Plus of course the bike really seems to look after you.

Definitely intend on doing level 2 now!
