BMW Park Lane

Quick tip. If you are obsessive about your MOT being a main dealer stamp, they are not authorised to do MOT at the current site so use another business for MOT.

To be honest, I find all the BMW dealers to be fanatstic ! Have you ever tried to get a test ride of a Honda or KTM? Lots of questions, lots of hassle.

BMW are so good with "loaners" and test rides. The blokes they employ in the service/parts/clothing sections are always excellent (imho) .
What do you want ? A warm welcome, Coffee, Unambiguos deals, straightforward advice, zero bullshit . The truth about delivery dates .

I get that.

Williams (Manchester) are my favourite, I purchased 4 bikes from them over the years and everytime it was a pleasure, exciting even !

I have only had a few dealings with BMW Park Lane. TBH it was all very good. Got a nice deal when I bought my 2014 GSA (ex bmw staff bike). Could not have got it cheaper. Dealt with a guy called Tom Hiney, super bloke. Still get invites for their ride outs and the odd email from Tom asking how things are going with the bike.

Me too, CW in Dorchester deliver it in spades ! I have to say I have had great help at NOG and Bahnstormers (Alton) when I have popped in as I have been passing. The parts guy at Alton fixed my GPS and wouldn't take any money.

I know all dealers cannot be exceptional, but my experience of BMW main dealers had been excellent and I don't see me changing anytime soon.

in 5 years, I don't think I have ever had a free loaner bike, bar at Steptoe! Vines always sting me £25 quid and Park Lane stewarts road stung me £20 for a scooter!!!! Park Lane W1 whatever...won't ever be back in their showroom. 5 years ago I enquired about the best deal etc to match my then budget on a new 2010 tc....sorry sir can't do that, and we don't price match other dealers etc. ..So I went to Williams Manchester when I was there a weekend later...No problems Sir, all done as per your budget. Thanks for the business. 3 Days later Park Lane rang up to ask why I didn't buy through them. When I explained they couldn't match my budget so I went elsewhere. Simples. Subsequent pissed off park lane reply was "you should have come back to us"...laters

adventuredon- I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one who finds Williams Manchester to be amongst the best! Chuffed for them.
