Bmw price guide please

Hi all. i have been offered a bmw R650 LS
62k
mechanically good.
Cosmetically average.
Paint faded as its red
1983
good tyres and brakes
Whats it worth?

Yes...airheads start better at 800cc...but that is just my humble opinion.

Probably a nice little commuter, they didn't make many of those ugly feckers

Not gutless, they are the "sport" 650, handle pretty good as well..
IIRC 50 bhp same as 800 gs

Saw one in a dealer on Ebay..stated it was immaculate but he wanted £ 1,300 -£1,500.....he never mentioned it being ugly and gutless

R65g/s is for women as well...and you calling me ugly or wot la ?

The R65LS had silencers unique to the LS. But you can fit standard R65 items if they're fecked.

The LS was designed by Hans Muth. He later designed the Suzuki Katana.

I rode an LS and thought it was a fantastic bike, handled well and loved to rev. it didn't feel slow at all.
