BMW protector failure

Worth checking your armour in your BMW clothing. As you can see mine is broken , comes from the Comfort jacket the elbow protector. I washed the jacket last year (the protectores removed and undamaged at the time), it was hanging in the cupboard until yesterday when I checked the jacket . Strange !
I will replace mine with ForceField.

Exactly same happened with my Rallye 2 jacket, er, in the very same spot!

Even seen the beginnings of splits with the newer D3O armour
