What is the difference between the slip on and the muffler please (apart from the shape). When was the muffler first introduced by BMW was it with the introduction of the 1250 LC

Not just because I'm currently running a remus 8, Ive had the Akro, Yoshi and obviously the Standard can.

Even though I have a Akro full system on mine I like the sound of the Mivv oval.

The problem with Mivv is the strap used to attach it to the bike. After a week it looks a year old.

I replaced with a Akra and that still offers the best in terms of fit, look and sound.

They sound even better if you get them remapped, much deeper and less rough.

Well there is a shock........... the EU being difficult , never ..

Oh Akro end can for me ( mines a Euro 3 with baffles in and sounds great )

I've always liked the Arrow cans (great on triples). But for the GS, being the type of bike it is, especially the distances you tend to do on these bikes - and so having to live with the sound - I can't get past the stock exhaust.
