That's right Cookie. This one is already fitted with a standard size semi floating disc and a 4 pot caliper so the fit up will be bolt on. Hadn't ridden an airhead for a while until last week. I remembered quickly that the brakes were only just. (My normal ride is a TDM900 -good brakes). The 100GS will be used regularly and upgrading the brakes increases the safety margin in an unforeseen event eg errant wildlife
To the OP, as has been suggested have a ride on all options. Airheads are like Vegemite - an acquired taste
