BMW R1200G headers.

Does anyone know if headers off a 2009 GS will fit on to a 2012GS? They are given different part numbers but i've been assured they are the same. Any advice appreciated.

The 2012 will be twin cam, the 2009 probably single cam. Single cam headers are not the same as twin cam.

I know of a Remus single cam header that will straight swap for the standard headers. It won't fit a twin cam bike.

They won't fit as the bore size is slightly different.

I bought some standard headers on Ebay, off a 2007 bike, decatted them and stuck them on my 2009 gsa. When I flogged me 2009 bike, I took them off and put them on me 2012 gsa. But, I did leave the exhaust flap out and fitted the Akro can as well

I have Remus headers on my 2008 GSA. They are fatter than standard with no link pipe. I also have the Akraprovic titanium headers. The front headers are linked and smaller but expand to a larger size under the cylinders. All hangers etc are the same.
