BMW R1200GS Engine Life

When cold, keep her between 3-4000 rpm. Once warmed up, enjoy the ride at no matter what rpm (um, below the red line I should ad :) ) and give her regular maintenance. That's it.
 
Rev the nuts off it and ride it like you stole it. You won't break it.

#1,make sure its well set up,don't use shitty supermarket petrol,reset tps regularly,use good oil,keep standard air filter set up,and give it some hammer,if it uses too much oil then its been run in like a pussy glazed the bores and it'll never be right:augie

Don't chug-it and don't scream-it.

Any oil, regularly and a filter every oil change.

Catching up Chris, mine's on 42k or so now and I've a stint to Greece in July. :P

What a wonderful bike she is. :)
