bmw r1200gs lc engine colour

I used Halfords grey ceramic primer, gloss black ceramic and a few coats of lacquer
Near as dam it can’t tell the difference in colour
Did my sub frame, side stand and main stand
Think it’s a better finish too.

Thankyou. I am removing the BMW engine bars soon and I believe the engine is not painted where the bars connect to the engine. I would prefer to touch up in black.

Loads of areas on my 2018 black engine where it’s not painted - just machined alloy
 
you will also note that it's bare alloy around all the fixing points as well..( Look around the Torx Bolts ) the powder coat has been machined off
 
Might be wise to find out why these parts are left unpainted, must be a logical reason, otherwise it would have been easier for BMW to paint the whole engine...........:rob
 
I was led to believe that whilst there are various shades of white, if it's flat black it's black. They're all the same.
