Yes NLS, I asked the site owner to put the R1200GS into the registry and was the first to register.

It's a useful overview of different models, not quite as useful as a proper forum like this, but well worth a visit for sure

anyway, I find such things useful in two ways...

1) you can look and find for someone with the same bike near your residence or near where you travel to - nice to know (for helping each other etc.)

2) you see purely the view of the owner and a clean list of possible problems (and tendencies to have the same problem) without the bs of fora (of any fora ok? - it's the sense of the forum that breeds bs since someone can start a thread describing a small or bigger problem and then ten guys come in to screw things over - happens all the time, everywhere and we all have our share)
