Got a weep between the swingarm and the FD, spent a couple of days thinking it was a dodgy drain bolt.

It looks like it has a gasket between them, should this be there or not?

Also can I just loosen up the nuts shift it back a touch and remove the gasket and re tighten?

Should there be anything between the FD and swingarm?

Last but not least is there a special spanner, socket for tigtening the nuts up?

Thank you

Mark

Some have a gasket and some don't.
My g/s doesn't and when I put one on it, the FD came loose. Took it out and it's perfect.

My special (mono) does have a gasket and is fine.

Tighten them up, see what happens. I think you can use a normal socket, despite the nuts looking a bit odd.

It has normal 13mm nuts on the studs, is that why it's a bit awkward?

Have tried tightening them but is still weeping, but I am having difficulty getting a socket on them.

Cheers for the reply Tufty

Should you have a spare 13mm ring spanner try that - if it is too thick you can grind (bench grinder) off some of the thickness to get it to fit squarely on the nuts.

Cheers all.
Going to loosen them off and remove the gasket as it looks like it is that which maybe causing the leak.
