Hi there and happy new year to everyone!!!

Right thats that out of the way, now to moan....

All Rally 2 Jacket owners can you check in the back and see where yours is made, Mines China!!!! got my friend to pick it up for me as I'm working at the moment, and next day noticed it's made in China?? when I checked other jackets before I bought this one they where made in Hungery.
Anyhow thats not really the issue here, the real issue is that the second time I wore the Jacket the inner Zipper is goosed won't do up, knackered, dead, zilch, bust whatever you want to call it F%$£ed, so now I'm back to wearing my Danise rally jacket which is 7 years old and hasn't given me any trouble at all, Will be down the BMW dealers as soon as I finish day shift to see what they say, basically I want to return the jacket either for a new one or my money back, was I stupid for buying one in the first place you tell me.??

Pi*SED off and cold in the morning Richard.

Mistake I made several times with mine is zipping up the wrong areas. Two zips are located very close to each other, and if you insert the inner lining to the outer zip you're screwed. Takes a woman to remove it (I can hire out mine...)

know what you mean

The first time I took the Jacket off I undid the liner instead of opening the inner jacket, but now the inner jacket zippers goosed???? Would be better if it was a meaty mans zipper and not this woosy ladies skirt thingy!!.
Where is your jacket made CHINA!! like mine??
Cheers.

I remember China (haven't got it at this moment). But no problems with it apart from zipping the wrong zippers.

Mine made in China as well. But really I don't care. I work in a group for household appliances and must say the Chinese quality is better than the former European plant.

Zippers. No problems as long as I carefully check that zipper matches liner.

Already fell with it, sliding 2 meters on tarmac. I used hard off road protection and on the elbow there was a whole of 2". Now I have leather pads on elbow and the knees of my Savanna II pants.

Curious how the jacket would survive a slide of 30 meters

I did the zipper thing as well the other night. No permanent damage. I'll be a bit more careful doing this up in the dark next time. Even though I'd already seen this thread and been generally careful, I was in a hurry.

They ought to have used either the same pitch zipper or something wildly different for the outer one IMO. The quality of the jacket is fine though from a manufacturing point of view. Bit worrying about the abrasion post above though.

Thanks

Thanks guys I don't feel so bad now, thought I was the only one that fu%£ed up the zips, tried it again the other day and I couldn't believe it the zipper worked, like you said the morning it didn't I was in a bit of a hurry, just need to concentrate.

How much did it cost just interested I think I paid a lot more than I should have £353:00

Just had some German visitors staying they have just ridden over from Germany Via Turkey and Iran and are now in Oman, they where wearing RUKKA gear really really nice stuff with inflatable bladder inside to retain body heat in the cold. and once the inner jacket is removed it's so thin that you can see through it when held up to the light, full body armour will be checking it out next time in the UK. This stuff looks ideal for Hot weather wear.

By the way how easy is it to take the sleaves off the rally 2.
cheers Richard.

353 is a good price. It's £370 here.

The detachable sleeve thing is a bit dubious in my opinion. I guess you could zip them off and stuff them in your panniers for a days sightseeing, but riding without them is asking for it.
