Well after an afternoon ringing around all the Motorrad dealers within a hundred miles of where I live I think I have got myself a cracking deal :D

The new Rallye 3 colours are out this week so some dealers are heavily discounting stock to make room.

I have reserved for pick up in the morning a Gun metal grey Rallye 3 suit for £610 inc vat etc

This retails at £995 so I'm extreemly pleased as this is cost price with a 40% discount

There are some good deals about if you are prepared to do the legwork :thumb

Jon :beerjug:

no wot u mean mate, just after christmas i had me a rally 3 suit from park lane, for £660:D, and ive just had me the matching GS gloves aswell for £40:augie

:beerjug: I had my new style Rallye 3 trousers (dark grey) arrive today from Balderston Peterborough a great service with a excellent price, thanks Chelle:roll our secret honest :thumb

There is going to be a short window where some good deals are to be had.

However some that I spoke to are saying they can do 5 or 10% and when you say what others are selling for they don't even try and make the offer better. :nenau

I thought £720 was the best deal I was going to get but the last call was the best deal of the day :D

Just hope it fits ok :(

I know exactly wot u mean mate, i think i spent the day ringing round every dealer in the uk:blast, my local dealer(mentioning no names:augie), now normally i cant fault em, but to say he was being tight as foook:blast, was the understatement compared to other dealers, but like you say, gotta do the leg work:thumb

i got a new rally 3 jacket for £345 which i thought was a good deal:thumb

Unfortunately for me it's the new colour that I like.

The Grey and Red is a nice combo but that would mean spending £400 more

I had a bit of a mare today as the trousers didn't fit :( The cut of the rallye 3 is very different to the rallye 2

I'm going back on monday to reassess my options as no 58 trousers left

I'm likley to go for a 56 in the rallye 3 and find some trousers that I can wear with it but not sure what ones to go for now

Jon

Is the Rallye 3 the new one launched this year? On the BMW website it just lists GS Rallye and GS Dry.

I feel for you.

If it's any help my Hein Gericke Master V trousers zip perfectly to the same size BMW Streetguard Jacket.

Yes its the new colours for this year with some slight changes to design, ie trousers have 3 different height settings for knees. : (GS Rallye)

I had to go up a size normaly get size 54 but had to change to 56 but I find am in the middle:nenau on this years design.:thumb

Try Balderston, Chelle very helpful and has just got the new kit in so may be worth trying for your size:rob oh, she did a great price for me...

Thanks for the heads up etc :beerjug:

I think I am between sizes as well. My rallye2 trousers in 58 were way to big. I had the ratchets on the smallest setting :(

I think the rallye3 trousers are a size up as the cut is different. They now do a rallye3 dry which does not have the removable liner and is £200 cheaper as well but you loose the versatilaty.

I came away today with the new grey and red jacket in a 58 but once the liner is removed it feels to big :blast

Rather than spending £600 I ended up spending £965  but I'm not happy with the size so I'm going back on Monday to see what I can do.

It's turning into a bit of a mare :(

I bought one today for just over £400 from a BMW dealership. Not as good a deal as you
got, but I'm happy. Its the first jacket I've had where the body armour is not intrusive.
Fits really well, seriously comfortable, and in Black.
Only went in for a look - next time will leave my wallet at home :augie

Hi , i bought a rallye 3 suit today. When i got home i tried it on again and tried to zip the trousers to the jacket.I cant figure out how to do it ? Even with them off it wont go together. Its as though the zip has been put on the wrong way :blast

any ideas please

Is the zip pull at the "open" end?

Is there a connection piece i'm missing ? If not then i'm fairly sure the zip part on the trousers is on backwards.Heres the pictures.

top of trouser, The plastic bit where the zip starts is to the left on the back but it needs to be on the right for them to zip together.
