Hi there
I am going out to the US on business in a couple of weeks and wondered if the BMW Rallye suits and helmets are cheaper over there? I will be in Cambridge MA and I have found the BMW dealer but haven;t had any response on email.

cambridge/usa bmw dealers

Hey ... I work in Cambridge and live in teh next town over (Arlington). There is a BMW shop called GBM (Greater Boston MOtorycles) in Arlington. THey don't carry any suits in stock for you to try on. But perhaps they may give you a price that is better than UK prices.

Even better is to drive 1 hour north to Max's BMW. They carry a bunch of stuff, I believe (they actually have an apparel section). I bought my GS from them. They rock, they are friendly as all heck, and you should definitely give your business to them over GBM if at all possible.

Check with Max's BMW in New Hampshire. If you have a hard time getting a price quote, which I doubt, I can lend a hand.

GBM are showing the Rallye 2 suit at $615 which is currently £341 - current price at Rainbow is £390 for the jacket and £280 for the trousers :eek

Sadly not cheaper - ££ too strong and German prices to USA too high. But non-BMW kit much better deal. That's in Kentucky where they all drive Harley's and protect their precious bonce's with a pretty little handkerchief tied in a bow at the back.

Check the site carefully- $615 for the jacket on it's own! plus around $400 for the trousers,

Ouch, you're right - bad pricing set up on the first page that implies it's for the suit, not just the jacket :spitfire Still slightly cheaper than Rainbow, but not a lot in it.

Thanks guys

I guess I better start saving dosh for the suit in the UK. What happened to the $ for £ we used to get?
