Whilst in Romania "ballistic" had a top-case seperation incident.
Fortunately BMW Motorrad Romania's Fast Response Team arrive promptly and fitted the revised locking mechanism:

I developed a love/hate relationship with Romania: Love the place, the people and the landscape.....hated the drivers.......Utterly suicidal.

Prices very cheap to an Englishman.
People beautifully friendly too.
But roads very very bad - perfect for a GS.

I will go back.

You should visit Afghanistan and watch the Romanian drivers in Afghan traffic!
