Since I contacted them and they said they would get back to me, do you think I should wait a bit longer? Perhaps they are busy and my call was not quite so important to them.

I waited about 5 months. They do volunteer their time so bear that in mind and you could be waiting for a local instructor.
Give the training officer or one of the committee members a call, they are all generally very helpful.
I'm glad I joined and passed my test :thumby:n
Good luck and enjoy the training :beerjug:

Why not get in touch with your local ROSPA group instead ?

Not sure what part of London you live in but Wey Valley Advanced Motorcyclists in Riply, just down the A3 is an excellent club.
They meet first Sunday of every month. http://www.wvam.org.uk

Hi Wobble, BMW RoSPA training ? Do you just mean RoSPA rider training - if so pm me your details I'll speak with administration and if there is a local branch I will see what the waiting list is like for new members. As has been pointed out, the tutors will be volunteers who put their time in to pass on what they have learned so others can hopefully benefit.
Regards,
Chris.

The best way to do your RoSPA training, if you want a gold, is to sign up with a local group. You might be lucky and do a weeks course and get a gold but it requires many hours to get to the required standard. There are lots of RoSPA groups around the country and many overlap, so if one group has a waiting list try another. e.g. Thames Valley also cover parts of London
