BMW S1000XR SE Sport for sale located just south of Bristol

Priced at £6750 ONO

Just ticked a tad over 18k miles(18017)
MOT April 2027
FSH(11 stamps) mixture of BMW Motorrad and independent bmw specialists
2 keys
Full colour coded luggage
Akrapovic end can(original exhaust included in sale)
GTechniq screen - again I have the smaller original one that will be included in the sale
4 previous owners, bought from a close friend who owned it for 3 years prior to me.
It has a biketrac tracker and a bike alarm installed as well.
New baterry at the start of the year, kept on trickle charger.

Bike has been garaged in my ownership, and even though I'm somewhat ashamed to admit this, been mainly ridden in fair/dry weather.

In terms of service history, in April it had the big 18k service(at 17.477 miles) which was intended to get it ready for the summer and many miles of riding(never happened due to circumstances changing, see below).
This service was done at Boxerworks, the valve clearance was checked & adjusted, the front forks rebuilt, the calipers serviced, new spark plugs and all the usual fluids/filters replaced as well.
Alongside the service and the MOT, I've also treated the bike to a new rear Michelin Pilot Sport 6 to match the front one that still has a good 4-5k of thread left on it.

Precious years, whilst I lived in Wales, I had it serviced a few times and prepped for my european tours @MidWalesMotorrad.
As part of the 12k service the bike had the usual timing chain tensioner cap changed along with new pilot sport 6 front and rear tyres.
At around 14.5k alongside a usual service the sprockets and chain were changed.

I have owned it for the last 9k miles and 4 years. It has been a pleasure to own, never having any issues and it took me on many adventures both in UK and Europe.

I have always kept on top of servicing and mechanical needs. In terms of bodywork, I would say its pretty clean with a few very small blemishes(pictures included), mainly on the panniers and on the top box support

Selling as whilst I hoped to ride more this summer, my firstborn was born 2.5 months premature and I barely had time to ride it, along with the fact that it seems like I am being made redundant, I am looking to downsize the number of bikes/vehicles in the household.

The biketrac subscription runs until January and can be transferred over to the new owner for free.

I live conveniently near a train station if that is helpful for viewing/collection purposes.

I have been putting off actually selling this as I have grown quite fond of it, but needs must unfortunately.

Any questions, do let me know.

Cheers,
Patrick
