Dealerships

Dave & Val, pleased to hear your ABS got sorted by the dealer on your behalf. This is how it should be especially with a safety critical unit. I feel it scandalous that BMW haven't recalled the units in question. My 03 went just out of warranty and I was tamping. My unit was replaced with an upgraded ABS only after three failed visits to the dealership and my direct approach to Motorad Customer Services.

I have to agree with the positive side of ocean,i have had five bikes of them over the years and have always been helpfull sometimes going out of there way to help.

Mark in the service bay is always there for a bit of tech knowledge or advice which i have been to other dealers as in Albion in exeter for my duke there was no customer care once the bike was bought!

I have recomended them to others, but its like anything some of swear by them ,others have had misfortunate dealings and wont go again.

Forgot to add, there is always Damrells on Mutley, not a bm dealer but Ben and the other guys in the service bay are very good and helpfull.
They do the KTM now!!

I think it's only fair that I post that after two shocking ownership experiences with bikes from Ocean, they have gone a fair way to redeeming themselves recently.

Time will tell, but for the moment I'm a happy GS rider again

Agree that Mark is very helpful at Ocean but don't agree with comments about Albion. They look after 3 of my bikes (KTM LC4, KTM 300EXC and son's CRF230) and I have found them all very helpful even with minor queries. Dealt with all sections, Sales, Workshop and Parts and all have been helpful, friendly and professional. When I have needed bits for any of the bikes they have phoned me once they are in stock and fitted tyres free of charge. Only the 300 was bought direct from them.

Just had a trip into ocean... great bunch of guys and really helpful. THey had a look at my bike, decided after 10-15 minutes that nothing was wrong and that was that. No charge, lots of advice, tips, help etc. So i bought a fuel and oil filter from them. Had a look at the twat jacket and thought... nice... but can't afford one so hoping a size 56 will come up for sale soon!

ANyhow, I live the guys at ocean, always really helpful.

I wouldn't piss on Ocean if they were on fire.

For reasons I'm not going to go into here, they'll never get my money again. I'd rather burn my bike than have them touch it again.

Someone help me out :duno

I have bought both a new Z4 and 1200 GSA from Ocean and found them very helpful and straight, would recomend them to anyone. If you have had a bad experence go and talk to them, otherwise you both loose !
