I've not seen anyone really mention these before.

I wanted something to sit on the rear seat, but didn't need to be secure but would use as much of the seat space as possible without resorting to compression sacks (as I've used previously).

After slowly wandering through the BMW catalogue I saw a they do a 19l soft pack ,the 51l version would be overfilled with crap, so decided not to get that one. Sweet.

In fact, it sits really well on the rear seat, the supplied strappings (no more bungees/cargo nets) are simple but very effective. Which is what I like it about it the most, its simple to use (quick), is waterproof, doesn't move around and I can't feel it at all when travelling.

Recommended for anyone not wanting hard luggage or wanting to muck around with other companies soft luggage options with all the 'oh no... it doesn't quite reach' moments when strapping down [1].

[1] or the case of the UK plated Aprilia rider in Monaco last year, who I'd stopped, so to point out his strappings had loosened and were flapping around, low enough to get caught up in his rear wheel/chain.
