Hi there
I fitted the spot lights and the switch, all easy enough. The BMW wiring harness for these lights have five plugs. Two of which fits the lights, one fits the light switch and then the remaining two. One male and one female, both with exactly the same three wires, one brown, one red (with a thin blue stripe) and last wire is multi coloured.
These last two is my problem, I found a male plug (on the bike harness) which fits the female (on the light harness). The wire colours on the bike plug is brown, red (wit the thin blue stripe) and then a purple. The remaining plug on the spot light harness seem to be a repeater plug for the one on the bike harness, which I assume does not have to be connected. I assume this can be used for another accessory.
The plug on the bike is shown in the foto, have I got this correct? The plug is located on the left side of the bike, sort of behind the air intake ram. The spot do not function at this stage, supposedly they will have to be "programmed" at the BMW dealer first.
