Finally getting around to fitting my Innovv dash cam to my GSA, as I didn’t want to break into the bikes wiring harness on this one. Just found Denali do these, which is a bit pricey, but should be usual Denali quality.

I have one of those you can have for tenner, if you like, it’s been used but it’s ok.
I’ll dig it out tomorrow just in case you’re interested.
It was used to take a switched live from the sat nav feed. Don’t use it now as I don’t use the sat nav.

Let me know and I’ll PM details.

Thanks Ian, but I have one coming for tomorrow.

What prompted me to go down this route, is an issue with the left switch gear on my current bike losing all function. It has happened a couple of times and seems to be ok now following a SW update.
I didn’t want to give BMW an excuse not to look at the issue, due to the wiring being breached. On my previous bikes, I have used the fused switched live under the rider seat, which just so happens, feeds the left switch gear.

No problems. Sure another use for it will come along at some point.

That Denali connector does a good job. I used it to connect my innov blind spot detectors before i got Chigee Light.

Hey, I don't suppose you've still got this spare Denali gizmo have you please? I'd like it if you're still willing to sell it?

Hello Mate, sorry, I'm going to need it now for the new Chigee device that is in the pipeline.

That's an interesting suggestion. Thanks! I want to keep the satnav feed but use it as an accessory trigger. Are there only two wires in that loom feeding the satnav? I haven't disconnected the connector under the TFT to investigate (yet)

(I guess I'm asking whether that's a generic photo of a connector or the specific one for my bike. Do you have a link you could share please?)

2 Pin Connectors 61138365340/968405-1/1-967644-1 for BMW MQS Cable - should find it on Amazon.

It is just two wires.

The original wiring to the sat nav mount is three cable. POS, neg and data

It does, thank you, but Victor (thank you too) says there are three wires in the loom on the bike, and the Denali product shows three wires 😔

Thanks again Victor. I can't justify £25 for a couple of connectors and some wire. I'll going to see if I can achieve what I want by butchering the sat nav's feed wire
The best cheap solution would be to use a Posi-Tap connector on the live feed cable. This just makes a pinprick hole on one side of the cable. The other alternative to the sat nav cable, would be the din socket feed cable.

I bought an adaptor lead for the power socket - it had a plug & socket at one end, which allows you unplug the power socket, then connect this lead and plug it back in, and gives you two wires with switched live and ground. I use it for my garage door remote.

I think it was this one, or similar. I didn’t pay that much, but it was four years back.

Thanks SBD. Again, that's £25+ for 2 connectors + wire. I'll probably do something like Victor suggests, which will work fine and cost peanuts

I’m sure it was cheaper, I just can’t recall where. And of course, it’s easy to return the bike to original condition, should that matter to you.

There’s this option that taps into the rear of the din socket. I’ve fitted one in the supply to the usb on my RS to feed a pair of auxiliary lights / DRL’s.
