BMW System 5 Helmet

Can you make the system 5 an open helmet as well a jet helmet like the system 4.

According to the blurb Yes. You have to buy some cheek covers or something.

£600 for the bluetooth model, bloody hell. Plus the cost of a new mobile as well. I received a message from Autocomm who told me their system does not work with the bluetooth in the system5 helmet. But the standard price seems reasonable. Previously, I was looking at the Shuberth C2 which still looks good on print-out anyway.
Anybody favour the C2 over the beemer model?
And, where is the nearest dealer for the C2 in the NorthWest?

I have some serious spending to do when I get back to the UK.

Those Clever Germans have very carefully sized the 1200GS Topbox in such a manner that if you use a Shuberth Helemt it does not fit in the box. Where surprise surprise a system 4 does, I've not had access to a System V to try it!

So if you want to carry your helemet everywhere?

Rainbow have them in stock and they look better in the flesh so to speak than in the brochure IMHO of course!!
