A question for those couples using the Bmw communication system, according to http://www.rainbowbmw.com/reshop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=700 only the rider can hear the navigation instructions? We both like to hear this as it makes life easier if I miss something or don't do as requested!

Thinking of buying our 1st flip helmets and are trying to decide whether to stick with our wired Autocom system or change to blue tooth, but £1400 is a lot for 2 helmets but something's about Bluetooth does appeal?

Dave,

On the RTLC set-up only the rider can hear the satnav with BMW bluetooth. I have both but still prefer the autocom...

Thanks for the reply, one other question then, if you are playing music from an SD card in a Nav5 can you both hear this or only the rider?

interesting Because I too am looking at going for the eve with the comms installed , will watch here with interest ….id like to know if the comms system can be modded to take an In ear speaker lead . i know it can be done on the scuberth .

This could be a deal breaker for me, we might still go for the helmets but stick with our Autocom which works fine just a pain connecting/disconnecting the leads!

Although I guess we could always have the communication added at a later date?

Why not get your Bluetooth helmets, keep the autocom and add the Bluetooth autocom module so you can Bluetooth to the autocom iyswm.

The Nav 5 is Blue-toothed to the Autocom dongle then wired to the main Autocom box which is wired to the helmets. Was thinking of the BMW system 6 evo communication as it would have just been the Nav 5 and helmets nothing else in the link, simples, or not?

If it's not doing what I want I am not paying over£600 extra for it!
