Well here you go, I have just purchased an new system 6 helmet from Southport Superbike having previously has a Multitec and a Tour X 3 I am going to try and answer some of the negatives and positives that I have seen on various threads. Delivery from the dealer was superb and I received it the following lunch time.
1. Sizing - I usually wear a medium size lid in both the above helmets, I found with the BMW lid 60-61 which I guess is a large fit just right, although the 58-59 fitted my head ok it felt a little small and when closed, the chin bar padding that sits under your chin rubbed down my nose and chin every time I closed it.
2. Construction – is every bit as good as my previous helmet and noting all the thread comments there appears to be no gaps around the visor with the rubber seal around the aperture compressing against the the inside of the visor when closed.
I will be using the helmet eveyday so I will keep updating this as I go
