BMW Tinted Windscreen Large R1200GS Adventure

I've had 2 air cooled GS Adventure's previously and have just collected my new GS Adventure TE Water Cooled.
The screen on the new bike doesn't seem as protective (tall) as the previous models and I find it very noisy with more wind hitting me.
I've seen a screen advertised in the parts catalogue called "BMW Tinted Windscreen Large R1200GS Adventure" part number 77 33 8 554 727. Now the word "LARGE" would mean to me that it is larger than standard, but on discussing this with my dealer they say its the same size.
Can anyone confirm if this screen is in fact taller or just a tinted version of the standard screen ?

Same size, just tinted ( I have it ) and AFAIK BMW do not make a larger screen for the GSA

Likewise, the adventure screen vibrates a fair bit, so I guess, unless it were braced, if you were to go for a larger screen it would probably vibrate a lot more?

However, I'm sure someone will be along in a mo' to tell me I'm wrong?

Looks like the Puig Touring Screen with some of Mr.Hooton's screen brackets then.
Anyone else gone the Puig route ?

Some have also trice the MRA options and got good results.

And yes I've paid money to Mr Hooton (again!)

Me too, and it works really well - I'm 6'6'' and its got plenty of adjustment in it..

I really like my Puig screen, but it definitely needs a screen brace on anything other than its lowest position.
