hi traded my 1150gs in 2wks ago for a fazer 1000.il let you kno how i get on,so far power is nearly as twice on the fazer,no need for chip or power performance enhancments.il be keeping it bog standard as far as that goes.riding posn is comfy and im 6ft with 33in leg.same sort of wind blast like gs so a flip up screens il get,still sussing the bike so il keep ya posted.cheers again.

any queries abt mods, PM me and ill help you, although to be fair theres very very little to do.

screen easily rectified.....im also 6ft3.....try the ceebaileys web site, they do a range of screens for the gs and fazer and so far it has proved great on the fazer.....

mind the power band till you are used to it..after the gs it can be a bit of a head rush. under heavy breaking the fork dive feels weird as well but u soon get used to it !

id be curious to see how you think the bike compares alongside the gs as i've been a blinkered bigotted jap owner for some time (as we all know) and i think you'd be,probably, far more balanced in your review than i would be!!!! hey im honest.

hi mate il let ya know,so far its good,il be usuing it all year round so hope build quality is up to it,but i think it wiil be as its a well finished bike.cheers zanshen
